Website design projects usually take 6-8 weeks to complete, especially if we are undertaking your Brand Design also, however we can be super speedy if needed and complete your site in a shorter time frame (around 4 weeks) on receipt of all of your images + written content.

WHAT IS WEBSITE 'HOSTING' AND WHY DO I NEED IT?
Website hosting is the server space you purchase to house your site’s files. Hosting your site is like storing your files in the Cloud, so that they are always there when you call on them. Hosting is an ongoing subscription (just like cloud storage) and will make sure everything on your site is visible online around the world, and runs smoothly with no disruption.
WILL YOU HELP ME WITH THE TECHNICAL THINGS: DOMAIN REGISTRATION / EMAIL / HOSTING?
There are several technical aspects that we will help you with when we create your website:
Connecting your website to your Domain through your Domain Registry (and setting up your DNS Zone Records)
Setting up your Website Hosting requirements for all the website files to be hosted and be discoverable online
Setting up email hosting (through the Google Workspace) so that you have a professional email routed through your domain
Connecting Google Analytics and indexing the site with Google on go live.
We can help you set up all of these things, as needed, in order to get your new website live.
WILL I BE ABLE TO EDIT MY OWN WEBSITE?
You definitely will! We believe that everyone should be given agency to control their online presence.
The final step in your Website Design project is handing over the reins to your new website. This means, once the site goes live, we’ll transfer full ownership of the website to your account, and we’ll schedule a Zoom training call to walk through how to edit the site and manage updates moving forwards.
There are times when we do recommend coming back to us (or using a qualified web developer) to make larger structural changes to your site, or if you add a location, because there are often design and SEO implications when making larger changes to any site. We’re always working with clients long term to help manage websites should you need us, but we are huge advocates for our clients having a level control of their business asset, and be able to jump in and make a few edits as needed too!
Please note: after approval and launch of the site, we do charge a support fee to resolve issues caused by any updates made by you.
